Georgia Military Museum

Georgia Military Museum - Visitors to NIM can explore an authentic World War II street and see what life was like for students at nearby Fort Benning during the war. The seven buildings are the chapel, hall, barracks, supply room, regular room, and GEORGE S. The headquarters and bedrooms used by Patton on the road were decorated in 1940s style.

Inside the museum, visitors will see life-size vignettes of infantry operations on Omaha Beach and the final 100-meter ramp at Corregidor. And the 5,000 square meter gallery offers invaluable exhibits and stories of servicemen and women.

There is no charge for parking. If necessary, passengers can be dropped off at the roundabout in front of the museum in front of the car park to avoid a long walk. In front of the museum there is a parking lot for the disabled.

Between 1941 and 1945, more than 300,000 Georgians served in the military, and thousands of civilians worked in the rapidly growing defense industry. The Georgia Aviation Hall of Fame was established on April 19, 1989, when Governor Joe Frank signed legislation authorizing the establishment of the State Aviation Hall of Fame at the Aviation Museum at Harris Robin Air Force Base.

Located seven miles off I-75 in Warner Robins, the museum sits on 51 acres of beautiful grounds and includes more than 85 aircraft, missiles and cockpits in its collection. MOA Foundation, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization (EIN: 58-1451656) that serves to support the Aviation Museum at Robins Air Force Base.
